Many journals are increasingly requesting the submission of a “graphical” or “visual abstract” alongside the body of the articles, moreover, in some cases, it is mandatory. Therefore, the Organizing Committee has introduced mandatory submission of a graphic abstract along with the abstract.
This is a single, concise, pictorial and visual summary of the main findings of your research. On the one hand, the graphical abstract must be colourful and interesting enough to attract a potential reader's attention. On the other hand, it should convey information about the described research in a concentrated way.It should not be figure from the abstract but a figure that is specially designed for the purpose, which captures the content of the research for readers at a single glance. Please see examples here.
6. No additional text, outline, or synopsis should be included. Any text or label must be part of the image file. Please do not use unnecessary white space or a heading “graphical abstract” within the image file.
