Poster Guidelines

1. Posters should include the title, author(s) and affiliation(s), the presenting author, contact details (the e-mail address of at least the contact author) and main research findings, as well as tables, figures and graphs where necessary. Abstract title, author(s) and affiliation(s) should appear at the top of the poster.
2. Poster should be written in English.
3. Posters should be in A1 format, portrait orientation only:
- Size in cm (width × height): 59.4 × 84.1 cm.
- Size in pixel (width × height): 7016 × 9933 px
4. Font size: ≥16 pt. Please use highly legible sans-serif fonts e.g. Arial, Roboto, Helvetica or Calibri.
5. Resolution: no less than 300 dpi.
6. The content should be readable from a distance of 1 m.
7. Text in the poster should be written in clear, publication-ready English with accurate grammar and spelling.
8. Please ensure that formulas, graphs and figures captions are legible.

All posters will be permanently exhibited online in the Poster Gallery and available for registered users.

Suggestions for Creating a Successful Poster

  • Cloth and vinyl posters can be folded and placed in luggage.
  • Text and figures legible 1-1.5 meters away. Sans Serif fonts are more legible from a distance.
  • Avoid excessive text and organize text using bullet points.
  • Light background with dark colored text is easier to read.
  • Visual aids and graphics appropriate to information you are presenting.
  • Graphics should be high resolution.
  • Consider including a QR code to link to further information about your research.
