Visa Information

Citizens of the CIS countries, as well as citizens of Georgia, Serbia, Cuba, China, and some other non-EU members, can enter Belarus on the passports of their countries without additional visa requirements. Permitted periods of stay in Belarus and more detailed information can be found here. Citizens of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and 35 more countries (including members of Schengen Area and United Kingdom) can also enter Belarus without a visa until December 31, 2026, but with some restrictions. Citizens of the countries that aren’t listed above - need a visa to visit Belarus. You can find all the details here or contact the organizers - we will be happy to help!

Transport

You can get to the city from the airport by bus or shuttle bus, which run every 20-30 minutes. You can also use fixed-route transfers, which start at €16.
It is convenient to communicate with the city by public transport (the cost of a ticket is about 0.3 € per person), or by taxi (Yandex Go, Stalitsa 135, Almaz - 7788, Taxi - 152, etc.). You can find the schedule of the public transport on the Minsktrans website, and the metro map here (the site works in Russian).
But for greater pleasure, we recommend using the means of urban mobility - rental bikes and electric scooters! The rent in Minsk is made as convenient as possible - you can start and finish a rent anywhere in the city and even beyond. Attractions/Sights

You can get acquainted with the highlights of the city with the help of a red double-decker bus Minsk City Tour, which will cost you around 14.5 €, or you can use a public transport (see above) with the professional travel audio guide from 34travel. If you prefer to explore on your own, you can visit the Trajeckaje pradmiescie (Trinity Suburb) - the original Minsk district, rich in historical monuments, coffee shops and museums, and the Vierchni Horad (Upper Town) - picturesque old metropolitan place occupied by the attractions from the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth period. There you will find the Holy Spirit Cathedral (17th century), the Arch-Cathedral Church of the Holy Name of Mary (“White Cathedral”or “Bieły kaścioł”, 18th century) and the St. Peter’s and Paul’s Cathedral (early 17th century). It is definitely worth to visit a Church of Saints Simon and Helena (“Red Cathedral” or "Čyrvony kaścioł ", 20th century) - one of the favorite places among citizens of Minsk.

Connoisseurs of the USSR heritage should take a walk on the Independence Avenue, one of the candidates for a place in the UNESCO World Heritage List, take a look at a building of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater - a monument of the constructivism, and take a trip to the charming “Asmałoŭka” quarter with its quaint streets and inviting coffee shops. Don't forget to visit our National Library with its observation deck and quite good restaurant of Belarusian cuisine under the top.
These days it will be especially pleasant to stroll through Loshitsa Park and visit the Loshitsa Estate. If you want something more wild, you should, probably, visit Park Pieramohi or Park Čaluskincaŭ with Botanical garden or especially wild - Siarebrany Łoh.

Cultural program

Familiarize yourself with the cultural side of Minsk you can through the some of our museums and exhibitions. Here are the most significant ones: The National Museum of Art, The National History Museum, The Art-Belarus Gallery, and The Azgura Sculpture Museum, which is the only sculpture museum in Belarus. Those who are interested in cultural parties can visit the Modul art platform or M11. Those who prefer more classical performances can visit The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater or The Belarusian State Puppet Theater.

Food

You can find good specialty coffee while sightseeing at some cosy cafes - 26, Zerno, Paragraph and a numerous other.
Minsk fast food can help you cope with your hunger during the walk - Piasočnica, Lidbeer Dvor, Kastryčnickaja vulica. Special attention should be paid to the lintzes Depo and Latin American burgers Sabroso.
If you're a vegetarian, you can find plenty of good dishes at Om Namo, Goodies and Tiden. If you have a lot of leisure time, you can visit MoneMane - there are many vegetarian options on the menu, La Scala - a drop of Italy with top Italian chefs or the most Belarusian restaurant - Kamianica. Particular attention should be paid to the restaurant The View. It is the best place to see Minsk from a bird's eye view - an unforgettable memory!
