Oral Presentation Guidelines

Conference Language

The official language of the Conference is English with the exceptional opportunities to make an oral presentation in Belarusian or Russian in case of language difficulties.

General Guidelines

  • Oral presentations are available in both on-site and online formats. Please follow the appropriate guidelines below.
  • Plenary Speakers have a 25-minute time slot for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion after the talk.
  • Other Speakers have 7-minute time slot for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion after the talk.
  • Please strictly follow the allocated presentation time.
  • Presentation format: PPT, PPTX or PDF.
  • Use only English language for the text.

In-person Presentations

  • Please arrive at conference hall at least 10-15 minutes before the start of the session
  • Introduce yourself to the session chair before the session begins
  • Upload your presentation to the conference computer in advance (or during the break before your session)
  • Ensure your presentation file is compatible (PDF or PowerPoint recommended)
  • Bring a backup copy of your presentation (e.g., USB drive)
  • Keep strictly within the allocated time
  • Be prepared to answer questions after your presentation
  • Use clear and readable slides (suitable for projection)

Online Presentations

  • The Online oral presentations are conducted remotely via Zoom.
  • Presentation must be delivered live.
  • The presentation should be clearly visible and readable on screen
  • Join a scheduled Zoom session at least 10–15 minutes before your presentation
  • Presenters must ensure a stable internet connection.
  • Test your microphone, camera, and screen sharing in advance
  • Use a headset or external microphone if possible
  • Close unnecessary applications to avoid interruptions
  • Speak clearly and keep within the time limit
  • Be ready to answer questions
